With 17 years' experience in senior level corporate direction, Marc Wachmann builds companies and teams with a holistic, people-centric approach. Knowing that driving scale only has value when managed to ensure growth is successful and lasting, Marc hones existing business processes or designs new methodology with equal effectiveness. Marc takes personal satisfaction in the "click" of orchestrating well-matched partnerships, building healthy teams, and creating business opportunity. His ability to naturally communicate with diverse audiences, and his existing relationships position him uniquely to continue a successful career – growing business, profits, and morale simultaneously.

Stephen Nykolyn

Co-founder

Stephen is a sales and marketing specialist with 16 years experience within both the wireless and advertising agency sectors. Stephen’s interest resides in the mobile application sectors. He’s spent the last six years in location-based services, mobile entertainment, and ‘prosumer’ applications. His areas of expertise include: business development, marketing and communications, and account management. Stephen has exceptional relationship skills and enjoys working with fellow entrepreneurs.

Jason Schwab, B.Sc.

Jason loves programming mobile games as much as he loves playing them. Jason’s 10 years experience includes building server software to support an array of mobile games, applications, mobile advertising, and location based services. This experience also includes developing server applications and databases that supported products that we’re commercialized around the world on wireless carriers via KnowledgeWhere and Useful Networks. Besides being a smart guy, Jason is very down to earth and a great colleague to work with.

Peter Werry, B.Sc. Computer Science

If you want to know the secrets on how to build applications for BlackBerry – you better ask Peter nicely to show you. For a developer still early in his career – Peter has learned some tricks of the trade that would take others decades to figure out. Peter is a mobile developer with 8 years experience. He launched his career with Research In Motion – then transferred his skill to KnowledgeWhere – where he developed some of the most innovative location based applications in the world. Peter’s most recent experience includes development work on “Poynt” by Multiplied Media which was recognized as “Best in Show” at the 2008 BlackBerry Developers Conference.

John Carpenter, P.Eng.

John is an accomplished Geomatics Engineer and programmer. He has a 10 years direct experience in the wireless location industry, spanning from hardware deployments and position determination calculations to final user application creation and testing. John was an instrumental architect of the Location Application Platform and its related services. Prior to working at KnowledgeWhere and Blister Entertainment, John was an accomplished Geomatics Project Manager with Colt Engineering and Canadian Geomatics Solutions.

He has successfully completed large-budget projects using a structured approach to project management and open communication between all parties. In addition he holds two patents in wireless location and has published a number of peer-reviewed papers on the application of geomatics technologies.
